Your Bio

I grew up overseas, where my parents were employees in government service. After eighteen years of moving around Europe and Asia, I entered college at the University of Portland on an Air Force scholarship. Graduating with a degree in computer science and electrical engineering, I accepted my first assignment to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This was followed by assignments just outside St. Louis, Missouri, Spokane, Washington, and Omaha, Nebraska. I am currently on active duty, stationed in Monterey, California.

An avid outdoorsman, my photography interests didn't take shape until later in life. Always hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and rock climbing, I started taking a camera along on my trips, and the hobby quickly grew into an obsession. Nearly every weekend or holiday is now consumed by trips all over the country, hunting for images that display the beauty of nature. Every image is completely natural -- known as "found" images -- none are ever staged, altered, or digitally manipulated. None of the wildlife shots are captive or in zoos, they are all truly wildlife.

My photographs are occasionally shown locally, and are currently available as greeting cards, postcards, and limited edition prints.
